Over-plumped. Over-filled. Over-done. Over. It’s time for a new approach to skin rejuvenation. We've seen a growing epidemic in the field of cosmetic dermatology in which beauty was being treated as a vehicle to reach unattainable iterations of perfection through constant objectification. However, when cosmetic dermatology is treated as a form of self-care and self-renewal, it is anything but superficial. It is a journey into your own rediscovery, self-exploration and self-love.
RESERVE APPOINTMENTIf you are seeking a more natural approach to enhancing your skin, neuromodulators (i.e. botox) and filler can be a great option. Neuromodulators relax the delicate muscles of the face, thereby minimizing and preventing wrinkles, allowing the skin to become smooth, brite, and refreshed. Many types of fillers contain hyaluronic acid, a substance that is naturally present in the body. Hyaluronic acid works by pulling moisture into the skin. In helping to keep the skin hydrated, it aids in healing to regenerate the tissues, and create more radiant and youthful-looking skin.
Anyone can tell the difference between a lush, nurtured, and lovingly tended garden, and a barren, dry, and forgotten landscape - I believe.
